Leading the Church

It all comes down to this point: God's call for the Church versus ours. Who is running "your" show and who gets the glory? Or better put, whose show is it and what are you showing? Your attitude and motivation come from what you favor and prefer and these ideas come from a sense of desires and pride that in turn run the church. Or, we can manage "our" church from a sense of call and responsibility as the stewards of His Church.
The Church exists by what Christ has done for us in and for His glory and the production of His work. The church exists for us to be in Christ our Lord, to be His people, and His hands and feet. It may have started with the promise to Abraham...
One of the major points of our lives is the debt we owe to Christ; we should give back to Him and His work in us with gratitude as we lead His Church. Thus, any condescension to those under our care and guidance is an extreme assault both on the character of our Lord and on His instruction to us.

It is a position that seeks vision, opportunities, and needs and then motivates others to get it done through the resources, talents, and time they can contribute.

More Good News on Spiritual Warfare! The knowledge of who we are in Christ will be the driving force of how we are with others...
Christians can stand against Satan by being in Christ. God gives us all of the armor we need to defend ourselves. So, we are to trust Him and use Him and His gifts and tools!
How did Jesus respond to Satan and Spiritual Warfare? Immediately following His baptism by John and just before the start of His public ministry, Jesus was hammered and challenged by face-to-face!
Have you ever been hammered by Satan and/or temptations? Satan is real and he is powerful. Satan is our enemy, but we have access to an immensely far, far greater power.
We are already Triumphant in Christ! What can Satan and his war on Christ and His followers do to me? He can do to you only what God will allow for His glory.
