The Responsibility of the Church
It all comes down to this point: God's call for the Church versus ours. Who is running "your" show and who gets the glory? Or better put, whose show is it and what are you showing? Your attitude and motivation come from what you favor and prefer and these ideas come from a sense of desires and pride that in turn run the church. Or, we can manage "our" church from a sense of call and responsibility as the stewards of His Church. (1/14/2008)

Christ is to be our prime focus--first, foremost, over anything or anyone else. If we are not leading our people to Christ and explaining Who He is and What He does, we are not pastoring, we are pestering. We are simply being prideful and promoting ourselves. (9/19/2016)
