Leading the Church

Biblical Principles for Leading a Church

Welcome to our "How to Lead and Manage the Church with Biblical Precepts!"

These studies have been carefully researched and prepared for you from a 10+ year dissertational research study on why churches fail. We surveyed over 1000 churches all over North America and many parts of the world too. We looked at the real causes and motivations why one church succeeds while another close's its doors. While we compared this research with careful steadfast inductive analysis and word studies of God's most precious Word. You will be surprised to see what the real causes of church failure are. They are not always the reasons that many church growth books and researchers have been proclaiming for the last several decades. As we found many of their churches failed too. It is our hope you will become centered to His Word. As our purpose statement states:

"We desire to see a church committed to His purpose and poured out to His ways. Then we will see revival through real prayer and devotion to His Lordship."

A basic description of leadership is the duty and call of the person who is in charge to take charge with courage and character, and to risk leading his/her people where they need to go and how they need to be led. It is a position that seeks vision, opportunities, and needs and then motivates others to get it done through the resources, talents, and time they can contribute.

Learn from over twenty-five years of research, what goes wrong and how to turn your church around…

Is your church one that reminisces of the glory days? Oh, how wonderful we were when we….. Or when we had…..? Is your passion and affection for yesterday's church greater than today's? Do you fear tomorrow's church? Has your excitement been fleeting? Is the passion absent? Has fear of change caused you to be over-cautions or even disengaged? Is there a compromise of God's Word and or worldliness going on? Is next Sunday just a run-of-the-mill Sunday with no excitement or urgency to what God has for you? If you have answered "yes" to any of these questions, it is time to revitalize--or become extinct! >

Why we should go to Church, when to leave a Church? Do you want to go to church, but feel lost there? Do you dread going to church? Do you wonder why or even if you should go to church? If we are not committed to a church home, then there is no one to keep us accountable or to miss us when we do not attend worship. If no one is expecting us, we can come up with all those excuses of why we need not go. Then, a trickle-down effect will occur.

How is your seasoning? One of the key objectives of Francis Schaeffer's work was to help Christians think and process who they are in Christ. In so doing, one would look at God's precepts and then work them out so he could better be salt and light in the world in which we live. Schaeffer found, both as a pastor and in his early personal practice of Christianity, too much shallowness, preoccupation with trivialities, and what he saw as "irrationality."

These are the 12 characteristics that form a church that pleases our Lord. Each of these distinctions are extremely important; however I feel I placed them in a hierarchal arrangement. That is the first one is more important than the second. And the first one begets the second that begets the third and so forth. So each one when practiced is...

Is Your Church Healthy?

What would your church look like if you took away the pastor(s), the music and worship, the buildings, the favored programs, the sacraments and ceremonies, as well as the events and Sunday School? What would you have left? The answer of what is left is what impacts and what resounds in your church, and is where your church's health lies. Because doing church is not about the pastor, the observances, or the programs. It is about how we...
