How is your seasoning? One of the key objectives of Francis Schaeffer's work was to help Christians think and process who they are in Christ. In so doing, one would look at God's precepts and then work them out so he could better be salt and light in the world in which we live. Schaeffer found, both as a pastor and in his early personal practice of Christianity, too much shallowness, preoccupation with trivialities, and what he saw as "irrationality."
Who is Jesus Christ to you and your Church? Who should He be? Perhaps Who He really is, LORD Almighty!

He is our Sovereign Lord and Savior to whom we owe an unpayable debt and we can respond in our gratefulness for His glory. Our relationship with Christ is not just that He is our Savior, but He is also our Lord and we are His servants; in this relationship, He calls us His friends in John! Consider the wonder of this all. We were bound by sin and in a helplessness state; now, we belong are bonded to a loving, caring Shepherd who desires to carefully carry us to His prime pasture lands and let us graze on His precepts, feed on His Word, and produce His call--the fleece to give Him glory and build His Kingdom. The true believer is the one who bases all their life," IT ALL", upon Christ, with full trust and assurance by faith and obedience.
How to incorporate an "Inductive" type of study into your home or church Bible study

If you lead a Bible Study, you are called to teach the Bible, not pool ignorance!

We are to lead our learners to the wonders and principles of the passage at hand. You can learn to do this and do it well! You can show the precepts, ideas, and truths of our Lord. You can be the mentor and disciple maker that our Lord has called. You are to lift up the cross, the Person of Christ, and what He has done. You are also to show others what you have learned and still be growing yourself, to show the wonder and truth of a life that affects all of our being.
Outlining the Bible is the primary means to prepare one to teach the precepts of Scripture in a clear and logical way. This is designed for the pastor, Bible study leader, or curriculum writer to learn how to examine the text and then draw out what is there in a logical and systematic way.
Nothing in our Christian lives is as important or compares to the value of learning God's Word and then incorporating His precepts into our lives. Thus, memorizing a passage of Scripture is an essential way not only to know His Word, but to know and grow in our Lord and Savior. Yet, many Christians have neglected, even negated this discipline, including me on occasions.
Matthew 1:1-17, As Jesus comes in the world via His incarnation, His incarnation needs to come into us the leader. Christian leadership is all about operating in and by Christ, being His Hands and Feet with His precepts!
How faithful is your church to Christ's call and precepts?
Worship will be the central aspect of Heaven. Thus, it must be the central aspect of doing church, and of each Christian's life! Our understanding of what a church worship service is must reflect the precepts of Scripture. This includes our influence, and the format of our worship services.
It is essential that we know that building healthy relationships is essential and vital and what our Church is here on earth is all about. First, developing and encouraging a personal relationship with Christ as Savior and Lord, teaching His precepts in an uncompromised Way and leading others to Him by our word and example through His Word, Example and Spirit.
A Disciple is one who grows in Christ and in so doing models and teaches Christians the precepts of the Bible, prayer, doctrine, relationship, Christian living, service, and worship, to name the main ones.
