Continuing the Legacy and Influence of Francis Schaeffer with New Research and Findings
Under Schaeffer's guidance and vision, ITW (Into Thy Word) and FASICLD were started in Carmel California as a "church guild," think-tank and Bible literacy project. This endeavor came into fruition the late 70's to strategize how to reach and train pastors and church leaders to focus on Christ centered principles.
It is our VISION and call, and commitment to point the church back onto the path of making disciples. It is our passion and directive to lead Christians away from our false perceptions and into His way.

We are a 501 3 c "Christian Think Tank" who conducts research on Church Trends, Biblical Precepts as well as digging into Schaeffer's thoughts on "True Spirituality." We believe these can be powerful tools for a "church force," So you can build and lead a better church for Christ's glory. Our vision is combining the efforts of the "Francis A. Schaeffer Institute of Church Development" and "Into Thy Word Ministries," to provide you with the findings of our think-tank, research papers, curriculums helps for researchers, pastors and churches to apply essential thinking to faith for Christ's glory...
Francis Schaeffer (1912-1984) is most credited with and the founding of L'Abri and helping ignite political activism, apologetics as well as deep biblical philosophical thinking amongst Protestant evangelicals in the 1950's through the early 1980's.
Articles and pictures from our founder and others contributing to his philosophy and call to action. Because of God's call and Schaeffer's influence, we desire to see a church committed to His purpose and poured out to His ways. Then we will see revival through real prayer and devotion to His Lordship.
We provide research and resources for discipleship and leadership training. We bring to pastors, church leaders, church planters, seminaries, and Bible schools biblical curriculums, research, encouragement to be a "paraclete" which means to come along side to equip those who do.
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (John 14:26-15:26). The Triune God has created humanity in His own image and has called us to manifest and reflect personal holiness through trust and obedience to His Word and commandments.
Through His Word and the Holy Spirit, we strive to bring the gift of a life that is fully surrendered to God. We approach all of our work and life under God's control and leadership.
